A travel fee of $25 will be added to locations greater than 25 miles of San Antonio.

I am a natural light photographer, so good lighting is a must. I am a sucker for the golden sunset glow, which is known as "Golden Hour" in the photography world. Golden hour happens about 1 hour before sunset and is guaranteed to produce beautiful glow to really give you that wow factor! I only shoot during this time unless I am doing a newborn session indoors, in which case 10am to 2pm would be the best time to shoot.

Newborn sessions take place in your home and are lifestyle based. This just means that there will be less of the posed, everyone looking at the camera and smile images and more of the playing, laughing, hugging and loving on baby images. I do bring some props and will do a few of just baby at the end of the session. I often use the living room, master bedroom and nursery during the shoot. Newborn sessions are my absolute favorite type of session.

At this time, I do not process print orders. Your images will be delivered in an online proofing gallery, where you will have access to high resolution download and will have full printing rights. I am more than happy to offer recommendations on local print shops and companies that offer great products. I highly advise against printing at a neighborhood drug store, as there printing machines often lack in color calibration and often don't produce high quality prints.

I currently use a Nikon D750. My go to lens is the Sigma 35 1.4 which almost never leaves my camera. I sometimes shake things up a bit and use my Nikon 85 1.8
I am always happy to help a fellow momtog or dadtog for that matter learn the ins and outs of using a dslr.

Most families schedule their sessions about 2 months ahead of their desired date. I am a full time teacher so my availability is mostly limited to weekends. The earlier you schedule the better. This will give you time to secure your date, decide on a location and get outfits picked out, ordered and ready to go!

YES! I have many beautiful dresses available for mom and little girls. I also have newborn outfits/wraps/headbands, as well as a few toddler boy outfits. All items in the client closet can be used at no cost to you and we can go over options when we chat. I also have an amazon "outfit guide" that I send my families to help them with coordinating everyone's outfit. I always advise moms to pick their outfit first, and then build everyone else around hers. Matchy Matchy may seem fun, but it can be hard to photograph and everyone sort of blends in together. I always steer clear of neon colors as well as shirts and shoes with cartoon characters. Think classic, neutral, earth tone colors that stand the test of time and will make your photos timeless.
